[Emergency Notification - Typhoon Contingency Plan]

In response to Typhoon Kong-Rey approaching Taiwan, the organizing committee has decided to proceed with the event as scheduled. However, due to potential closures of public institutions on account of the typhoon, the venue has been changed to the 3rd-floor conference hall of Tainan Academy Hotel (701 University Road, East District, Tainan City; https://www.academyhotel.com.tw/en/conference.php). Staff will be available on the day of the event to guide you to the revised location.

Attendees may still travel to the venue via the high-speed rail, but please be aware that service schedules may be adjusted due to the typhoon. If you encounter any issues reaching the venue due to flight or transportation delays, the organizing team will arrange an online streaming option. The streaming link will be sent to you in the coming days.

Dear Participants of ISMB 2024,

It is with great pleasure to warmly invite you to participate in the upcoming 5th International Symposium on Mechanobiology (ISMB), scheduled to take place from November 1st-3rd 2024 in Tainan, Taiwan.

The primary purpose of the 5th ISMB is to disseminate cutting-edge research and innovation in the field of mechanobiology. 5th ISMB will bring together scientists, leading researchers, clinicians, students, engineers and stakeholders from academia, industry, and other organizations worldwide to discuss new discoveries, exciting advances, strategies for improving current research and future vision in the field of mechanobiology. We are delighted to announce that this special event will feature a multitude of renowned scientists who are accomplished in their academic fields, such as mechanobiology and bioengineering, to captivate our attention with their inspiring lectures.

ISMB serve as a platform for the exchange of ideas and practices to facilitate the connections between academia and industry. Additionally, we provide sufficient opportunities for researchers or students to participate in oral and poster presentations. As before, this symposium will undoubtedly arouse lively discussions and debates, and we hope everyone will seize this opportunity to promote academic advancement and a global perspective.
